Vice President, Group Account Manager, The Nielsen Company
Born and raised in Hampton Roads, Adam started his career as a Marketing Analyst with The Virginian-Pilot in 1995. Over five years, he has held a variety of sales positions with his last assignment being with Local Key Accounts team where he worked with larger local based businesses.
Mr. Bush moved over to Cox Media in 2000 where he expanded his horizons by providing cable advertising based solutions to local business throughout Hampton Roads.
In July 2001, Adam started with The Nielsen Company as a Client Service Executive in their Chicago office. His responsibilities included selling and servicing local television stations, advertising agencies, cable MSO's and regional cable networks on the how to best utilize Nielsen's Television Audience Measurement (TAM)service. Adam rose to Senior Account Executive before transferring to Nielsen's New York office in 2006. In 2008, he was promoted to his current position — Vice President, Group Account Manager — where he leads a team of three account executives and helps to provide solutions to their East Coast TAM clients.
Through his tenure with Nielsen, Mr. Bush has developed a strong understanding of research in general — both consumer and media — and it's role within the media and consumer businesses. The Nielsen Company is a leader in helping businesses understand what people watch and what people buy across multiple platforms.
Adam is a graduate of George Mason University. He is married to Maggie Bush, Lieutenant US Navy, and has one daughter — Addison. He currently lives in Norfolk and splits his time between Virginia and New York City.
