Andy Hilton is Local Sales Manager at WTKR/WGNT Television of Norfolk, VA. In his role with WTKR/WGNT, Andy leads a sales staff that provides marketing solutions and develops sustaining resource partnerships with client advertisers. The television group offers a diverse array of marketing tools including spot television, targeted web campaigns, and event marketing.

Andy has twenty years of experience in broadcast media and marketing, including years as a radio marketing representative at WPTE, WKOC and WROX locally. Prior to assuming his current position at WTKR, Andy worked with WAVY/WVBT for 11 years, spending the last six as National Sales Manager, working with major market rep teams and with agencies such as Mindshare/Group M, Zenith, Deutsch and Starcom.

Andy holds a B.F.A. in Music Industry with a minor in Communications from the University of Memphis. He is the President of the Virginia Beach Chapter of the Swedish-American Society, serves as a leader in various ways with First Lutheran Church Norfolk, and coaches two adult softball teams. Andy is also the founder and driving force behind recruit757.com which publicizes high school football in the region; bridging the gap between high school and college, promoting local talent for college recruitment.

Through his experience in the television industry and in developing the brand of his website, Andy has significant interest and experience in the integration of web and television, including the implementation of social media in marketing campaigns.
