Greg Bicouvaris is a native of Newport News, Virginia, and is the owner of GJB Productions & Marketing.

Bicouvaris has been involved in radio and television since he was a student at George Mason University where he graduated in 1989. While at George Mason, Greg really developed his media presence and networking skills. During the four years at George Mason, Greg worked at the college radio station, was the sports director for WGMU his junior year, and did play by play for the college radio station his sophomore and junior years. By his senior year, Greg did color commentary for the GMU radio network for all of George Mason's men's basketball games at the Patriot Center.

Greg also hosted a TV show his senior year on GMU TV called the Bickie show in 1989. He worked as a student assistant in the sports information department as well. Greg did commentary on football & basketball games for Warner Cable Channel-8 in Reston,VA from 1987-90.

While at George Mason, Greg spent two summers in 1987 and 1988 interning at one of the elite radio stations in the country, WCBS-AM 880. Greg Bicouvaris also made valuable connections and has had the chance to freelance for CBS, ABC, NBC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN Plus, HBO, HTS, Jefferson Pilot Sports, Big East Network, Proserv, Crosscreek, Creative Sports Marketing, TNT, TBS, USA, and various production companies. Greg is currently a stage manager for CBS Sports for the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens games as well as ESPN for college basketball and football in the mid atlantic area. Greg has had the chance to work behind the scenes on Twelve different sports for the television networks. They are football, basketball, the NBA draft, baseball, golf, tennis, horse racing, indy racing, track & field, softball, bowling, boxing, and lacrosse.

Since 1991, Greg Bicouvaris has been a talk show host and play by play announcer for NNPS TV CH 47. Greg has done play by play for twelve different sports (football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, swimming, table tennis, rugby, wrestling, track and field, gymnastics, and soccer). He has also hosted the award winning TV program Newport News Sports Highlights (a sports, educational, entertainment, and interview show). Overall in radio and TV, Greg Bicouvaris has been an announcer, talk show host, commentator, sports announcer, host, stage manager, assisted in production support, assistant to unit managers, and an account executive. Greg has done sales, marketing and promotions, and has produced radio and TV programming from the concept.

Greg has also been a stringer for the VA Tech ISP Network at football games, and has been a stringer in radio for ESPN, Metro News, Sportsfan, Virginia News Network, WPTF radio in Raleigh, as well as other radio networks. Greg has worked part time at several Hampton Roads radio and TV stations including WNIS radio.

Greg was the public address announcer for the VHSL AAA State Baseball Championship from 2004 - 2007.

Greg Bicouvaris has been featured in several newspaper stories and articles in the Daily Press, Richmond Times Dispatch, Oyster Pointer, as well as being mentioned in the Washington Post, dcrtv.com, and vartv.com (see News Articles).

Greg also received awards from The Communicator, Silver Telly, Virginia Tennis Association, the Peninsula Sports Club, and Menchville High School.

Since 1998, Greg can be seen doing some occasional re enactment acting on the Investigation Discovery Channel for the TV show FBI Files, and New Detectives. Three of the shows Greg has been on are still on the air today. (Radical Resistance, Bad Company, and Deadly Dealings).

On the radio Greg has done media buying and been heard on the following Hampton Roads radio station frequencies via commercials and programs . AM 740 * , 790 , 850 * , 1270 , 1310 , 1490 * FM 91.5 , 92.9, 93.7 , 94.1 * , 96.1 , 97.3, 98.7, 101.3, 101.7 *, 102.1*, 105.3 * * also worked part time at one time.

Greg is an account executive with 102.1 FM and 1490 AM radio the Game in Virginia Beach owned by Red Zebra Broadcasting, and also hosts the tv sports minute on the game as well. Greg has also done play by play and has hosted the " Sports Year in Review Show " on the game, and talk shows such as " Sports Scene ". Greg has also had a chance to host the weekend minute on the Game as well. Greg did color commentary for the CAA Men's basketball tournament in 2010 for 102.1 FM & 1490 AM The Game , ESPN 950 AM , and Sirius Satellite Radio.

Greg Bicouvaris has a strong bond to family and friends. He was very close to his mother and father. His father, Jim Bicouvaris, was a big influence on him in sports as well as developing a great consistency in work and being a gentleman. Greg and his father shared a passion for Ohio State football and they had the pleasure to meet the former football coach Woody Hayes, in 1986. Jim Bicouvaris was an outstanding insurance agent for 40 years. Greg's mother, Dr. Mary V. Bicouvaris was a great source for Greg in all aspects of his life including his education. Dr. Mary V. Bicouvaris was an educator at the middle school, high school, and collegiate level for 38 years. She was the 1988 Virginia Teacher of the Year and the 1989 National Teacher of the Year. Greg's mother and father were married for 38 years. Greg has an Annual Tennis Tournament in honor of his mother and father each year since 2001.

Greg has a sister, Valerie Bicouvaris - Stamatakos, an educator and teacher. In 2005 he became a godfather to Sydney Alexandra Holbrook. Greg is a member of the AHEPA and the Greek Orthodox Church in Newport News, VA (Saints Constantine & Helen) where he also serves as vice president on the Parish Council. Greg also is a board member of the Peninsula Sports Club .

Greg has traveled abroad to several countries including Greece, Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. He enjoys the beach (his favorites in the USA are Virginia Beach, Outer Banks, Myrtle Beach, and Miami Beach), swimming, dining out with family and friends, festivals and movies. He was also ranked in the state and mid atlantic area for tennis in 1997.

Greg prides himself in his consistency, marketing skills, customer service, and time management. He has practiced these attributes since the early age of 12, when he was a newspaper carrier for the Times Herald and the Daily Press until he was 17.
