Sharon Frazier

Cox Media Vice President of Sales

Sharon S. Frazier is Vice President of Sales for Cox Media, the advertising and marketing solutions division of Cox Communications Inc., the third largest cable entertainment and broadband services provider in the country.

In her Atlanta-based role, Ms. Frazier is responsible for the overall strategy for television, online, and mobile advertising sales in more than 20 Cox Media markets across the country, including Hampton Roads, Phoenix, San Diego, Las Vegas, New England, Northern Virginia, Los Angeles/Orange County, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Omaha, Kansas/Arkansas, and Florida.

She joined Cox Media’s corporate group in 2005, serving as Eastern Region Vice President, and as Vice President Media Sales and Marketing.  She began with Cox Media in 1996 as Local Sales Manager of their Southside Hampton Roads’ team.  She was promoted to General Sales Manager in 1998, and then to General Manager in 2000 where she was responsible for operations in Hampton Roads, Roanoke, North Carolina, and the LNC5 news channel.

A winner of several industry awards for strategy, innovation, leadership, and business excellence, Ms. Frazier earned a Master of Business Administration from the College of William & Mary and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Virginia Tech.  She is a Virginia native.
